Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of attending Women In Business RVA’s Galentine Gala, and oh boy, let me tell you, it was a game-changer! It hit me like a glitter bomb of inspiration—networking isn’t just tossing around business cards like confetti. Nope, it’s all about really connecting, sharing those “aha” moments, and celebrating each other’s awesome victories.

Too often, we think of networking as some super stiff, 9-to-5 kind of task. But guess what? The most magical connections happen when we’re just having a blast and chatting away! At the Galentine Gala, amazing women leaders from all walks of life came together to party, lift each other up, and build meaningful relationships in the most fun and supportive way. It really drove home the point that networking doesn’t need to feel like work—it can be energizing, inspiring, and, dare I say it, downright joyful!
