My Skating Slip-Up: What It Means for Your Biz! 🌟

Hey there Reader,

Quick story for ya: So, as many of you know, I'm a figure skater. It's something I absolutely love—but whoops, I just made a total classic mistake! I knew it was high time for some shiny new boots, but I seriously dragged my feet on it. Why? Because breaking in new boots would mean taking a tiny step back in my training, and ain't nobody got time for that, right? Well, this stubbornness of mine backfired BIG TIME. My old boots got so bad that I couldn't even work on my jumps! Now, I'm stuck in limbo waiting for my new boots and spending extra time breaking them in before I can get back to my usual groove. I know better. Ugh.

The whole debacle got me thinking—how often do we pull this same stunt in business? We dodge those little temporary setbacks because they seem like a hassle, even though they're absolutely necessary for long-term glory. Whether it's pushing off those crucial system upgrades, hesitating to hire because training takes time, or clinging to outdated processes because change feels like a royal pain, we all do it!

But listen up, real growth often requires us to take a tiny, brave step back so we can launch ourselves forward like never before! So spill the beans—what's one small “setback” you've been dodging that could actually set you up for massive success down the road?

Here's to making the tough (but oh-so-right) choices and skyrocketing towards our dreams!

Catch you at the top! 💪✨

Avoiding difficult conversations? Identify one small shift you can make this week to break that pattern and lead more effectively.

Business Strategist • Small Business • Since 2007 Are you tired of feeling like your business is running you? I take business owners from being overwhelmed, overworked, and undervalued to being strategic, productive, and profitable. Many business owners are too busy working in their business to work on their business. They get bogged down with wearing many hats, trying to grow their business, and deliver their product. I show business owners how to avoid the pitfalls, ignite a spark, and let their sparkle shine through.

Hey there Reader, One thing I’ve learned working with women business owners is this: real transformation doesn’t come from doing more of the same. It comes when you lean into what feels unfamiliar—but strategic. I recently worked with a client who was hesitant to tighten up her client onboarding process. She worried it might feel too impersonal. But once she implemented a system that streamlined communication and expectations, something amazing happened: her clients actually felt more...

Hey there Reader, Let’s talk about something we all do at some point—winging it. For a while, it works. You remember deadlines (mostly), juggle tasks in your head, and somehow pull it off. But as your business grows, that juggling act gets exhausting—and expensive. One of my clients was in that exact place. She was running a successful online business, but her systems? Total chaos. Everything lived in her inbox, and launches felt like sprinting through a maze blindfolded. We kept it simple....

Hey there Reader, Is your business feeling more like a fire brigade than a dream journey? If you're constantly in reactive mode, rushing to beat deadlines, chasing down follow-ups, or extinguishing operational blazes left and right, it's draining your energy—and your potential for growth. The golden ticket to sustainably scaling up isn’t working harder; it’s about building smooth, bulletproof systems that run effortlessly, even when you're sipping a latte on a beach somewhere. ☕🏖️ Let me...
